Today I discovered a really nifty website that will help you sort through the sometimes tedious process of job hunting. Becomed is a user-friendly web application that records your applications, resumes and cover letter templates, and tracks which job applications you sent, how far have they have advanced, and what are your next steps. Becomed is pretty reasonable to join, with a Pro membership costing a mere $2.99 a month. The site has recently added features that will monitor which version of your resume has landed the most in-person interviews. (Because you do have different versions of your resume, right?! I hope so.) Another huge bonus are the mobile, iPhone and smartphone versions of the site so you never leave home without a detailed track record of your job hunt. How cool is that!?
