I’m Nicole Marie and I'm here to help you make your career search exciting and fun! If you’ve ever wondered, “how in the heck can I break into the fashion career of my dreams?” you are at the right place! My goal is for you to be better informed when making a decision about what suits your skills and interests when choosing a fashion, beauty or retail career.

Since this is my first post, let me introduce myself. Over the past seven years, I’ve had several different roles related to the fashion and retail industry. I’ve worked as a fashion assistant at a magazine, a recruiter for retail training programs, an assistant buyer for two women’s apparel chains, a fashion writer and editor, a beauty consultant and just about everything else you can imagine in between. I’ve received a lot of inquiries over the years about working in the fashion industry and I’ve always believed in being a great mentor to those pursuing a future in this field. I hope this blog will finally answer all those questions in one place and offer much, much more. We all have to start somewhere...

And of course, I’ll throw in some fun stuff too...trend reports, fashion scoops, beauty news, etc. This is not a job board, but I will post a few opportunities here and there.
